| And then he walked along the edge of the Circle
This is the place where we will post your stories about the Green's Playhouse, The Glasgow Apollo and Satelitte City (The Wee Apollo). As it develops we will break the stories up into sections such as Myths, Gigs I missed, Meeting the Bands, Where are they now etc. No story too trivial and we will only edit out bad language!
New Forum structure on Apollomemories soon.

| 1976.One of the saddest concerts I went to at the Apollo. Only really went because
free tickets were given out at Glasgow University that lunchtime. For a while it
looked as though the band would not appear at all. When they finally came on
stage, former Free guitar virtuoso, Paul Kossoff was so out of it that he could barely
play. I remember the band playing the Free classic, 'The Hunter' but Paul was so
detached that the keyboard player took over the guitar intro. Wasn't too long
after that that Paul overdosed and died.
