This is the place where we will post your stories about the Green's Playhouse, The Glasgow Apollo and Satelitte City (The Wee Apollo). As it develops we will break the stories up into sections such as Myths, Gigs I missed, Meeting the Bands, Where are they now etc. No story too trivial and we will only edit out bad language!
New Forum structure on Apollomemories soon.

| It was near Xmas 1974,I was there only to see Hawkwind who I was fanatical about, and
who were headlining. It was my first gig, I was 13 and not quite old enough to
appreciate the Feelgoods, it was my first discovery of that thing known as 'support
act', and I was a bit impatient, but I did quite enjoy their set. I remember
Lee Brilleaux in a pudding bowl haircut and white suit. I thought he looked
silly, but what did I know? I think it must've been a good show, and I think
they earned a fair old applause. I remember their hard rocking blues sound in a vague
kind of way, it was a good while before they hit their peak of success and had chart
placings with a couple of very good tunes. As it turned out Dr.F
were the first band I ever saw live.
